Aurora — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Aurora (the "Service"), a guest-experience platform for weddings, operated at auroraguest.com by LUMIN E.E. (LUMIN L.P.), a Greek limited partnership registered with the General Commercial Registry (Γ.Ε.ΜΗ.) under number 184372803000, Tax ID (ΑΦΜ) 802873400, with its registered address at Mousaiou 13, Palaio Faliro, 17563, Greece ("Aurora," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you ("you," "Organizer") agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

Aurora is currently offered as an early-access, non-commercial service. These Terms will be updated before any paid or fully commercial launch, and you will be notified of material changes.

1. Description of the Service

Aurora lets an Organizer create one or more wedding events, invite guests, collect RSVPs and logistics information (such as transportation and accommodation preferences), customize a guest-facing design, and communicate with guests. Aurora provides the platform; the Organizer decides who to invite and what information to collect from their guests.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an Organizer account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • Aurora may offer password recovery and other account-security features; you are responsible for keeping your recovery email address current and secure.

3. Organizer Responsibilities for Guest Data

You are solely responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis to collect, store, and process the personal information of the guests you invite (for example, their consent, or your own legitimate interest in organizing your event).
  • The accuracy of the guest information you enter or import.
  • Complying with applicable data protection law (including GDPR, where applicable) with respect to your own guest list.
  • Any content you write in guest communications, custom wording, or uploaded designs.

Aurora acts as a data processor with respect to guest data you collect through the Service — we process it on your behalf, according to your instructions (as configured through the Service), and do not use it for our own independent purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Collect or process personal data unlawfully, or without an appropriate basis.
  • Send unsolicited, harassing, deceptive, or abusive communications to guests or any other person.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringes another person's rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights), or that you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures (including bot-verification), or access controls.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or to scrape or extract data for purposes outside managing your own event(s).

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the event details, guest lists, custom wording, and any images or designs you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading or entering Your Content, you grant Aurora a limited license to host, store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your invited guests.

You confirm you have the necessary rights to any image or design you upload (for example, a design you created yourself or licensed appropriately).

6. Third-Party Services

Aurora relies on third-party providers to deliver parts of the Service, including infrastructure/hosting and database services, transactional email delivery, and bot/spam protection. If you enable optional integrations (such as syncing guest data to Google Sheets), that data will also be processed by that third-party service according to its own terms. 7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." As an early-access product, features may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime or significant changes where practical.

8. Data Backups and Deletion

Aurora maintains rolling backups of certain event configuration settings (not guest data) for a limited period to help you recover from accidental changes. Deleted events are held for a short recovery window before permanent removal. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 13); guest data associated with a deleted event may not be recoverable after the applicable recovery window.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurora and its operator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of guest responses, or missed communications. Because Aurora is currently offered free of charge and on an early-access basis, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount (if any) you have paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of statutory data protection rights, where such limitation is not permitted).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or engages in unlawful activity.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify Organizers (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece.
